It's Harvest Time ~ Luke Bryan

 Well, it's getting to be that time of year again where combines, peanut pickers, cotton pickers and module builders will be going down our country (and sometimes city) roads!! :D Let's not forget the tractors pulling all that equipment! Also, the trucks hauling corn and/or peanuts down the road (going 30-35mph)!! Be mindful of the farmers!! Play it safe!!! Don't pass if you have to put the "pedal to the metal" to get across the bridge!! I've seen folks almost hit bridge rails!! It's not very pretty .... Trust me! You dont want to meet your Maker that way!!!

The people in those tractors sit up higher than you do. They can see further! They will motion you around if you can pass! If you can't ..... Well, honey, put on some big girl panties and deal with it!! Trust me, you dont want to meet your Maker this way either!!! I've seen many wrecks almost happen cause stupid people think they can pass me!! I hope that everyone will be safe this harvest season!!

 

There's peanut dust and corn husks driftin' through the air tonight
The marchin' band's warmin' up under the football lights
There's tractor-trailers backed up down by the elevator
Train track grain car will roll in later
Get filled up and head on out in the world
