Well, Life is throwing me a curve ball and killing me at the same time!!!
I contacted Itunes (via email) and they are going to reimburse me a certain amount of money in 5-7 days.
However, last month SiriusXM radio called me and wanted to extend my subscription with them for 6 months at a set price. I could not refuse $30 for 6 months!! They are not going to charge my debit card until the 20th of July!! Which is: TOMORROW!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!
Now, the money from Itunes is not here yet and I AM NOT going to call my Mom to bail me out!! I cried last time I did cause I as so embarrassed!!! Anyway, I have some money that my boyfriend (Marc) owed me so, I am going to go tomorrow and drive to Headland and put it in the bank so that my account will not be over drawn!!!
I thought that all my troubles were over!!!!!

Life has Thrown Me a Curve Ball
Anyone want to donate to the "Kate Needs Help" fund???
Living off from home has definitely taught me a few thing!! Like:
1. I don't have enough funds to support me on my own
2. I still need my Mommy and Daddy
3. I am learning to trust God more!!
4. I'm still immature (only I can tell me that one)!!!
5. Contrary to popular belief I am a spender not a saver (for all of you who might know who Dave Ramsey is ... he would not be happy with me)
6. I only have 47 more days until I move back home! How am I supposed to feel about that when I love it here so much??
This month, I am already broke. It's not even the middle of the month yet!! I still have one bill to pay! Granted, I only pay half but still. I made a couple of stupid purchases that I really didnt have to purchase but, I did anyway. I'm kicking myself for that one!!
Earlier this week I thought that someone double charged me for the same purchase so today, I went to the (small town) neighborhood friendly bank to get it straightened out! Turns out, they did not double charge me but, it sure did seem like it. Ayway, while there, I went to see if I could reverse the charges (thats when I found out they did not double charge me for the same purchase) ... I didn't reverse them. Also while there, I went to go see the very friendly CS (Customer Service) person. We chatted. I started tearing up. She asked i I was crying. I said that it was just allergies. I dont think that she bought it .... She asked me if she needed to call Momma again (I asked her to o this a couple of days ago and she did) and I said yes. I asked her to ask Momma to put some money in my account (that was/is disappearing) and she did. My bank account is not here I would like it to be but, it will be once I move back home and start saving again!!
So you see, I (still) NEED MY MOMMY!!! I am 25 years old and I am not ashamed to admit that either!!!
Oh, I have not mentioned Marc in a while! He is still around. Apparently, he has not gotten tire of me yet and I hope that that never happens!! Last night I went out to eat with his Mom, her friend, Marc at Blue Plate. Its a local restaurant that specializes in Southern Cooking. We had a blast. Marc had a blast also ..... especially since the restaurant was right next door to Sportsman Outfitters (?)?? Anyway, he has also been gracious enough to help me with my math when I needed help!!
I hope that you have enjoyed reading this!!

A Recent Conversatin that I had With Mom
So, I called Mom and asked her to put something in the mailbox for me ad this is the conversation that followed that conversation. It went something like this:
Mom: Are you going to go to school tonight?
Kate: I dont know.
Mom: You dont know? Why aren't you going to school tonight?
Kate: 'Cause math is getting so hard!
Mom: Well, you HAVE to go to school. You didnt come this far just to give up did you?
Kate: No. Besides, Mrs. Vickie and Mr. Larry (my teacher and her husband) WILL NOT let me quit
Mom: Well, if you dont go to school then you will have to move back home where I can control you.
Kate: Mom, I'm just joking
Dad yells to Mom from other room: Tell Kate that if she wants to continue getting gas here at the farm then she HAS to go to school
Mom: Are you going to go to school tonight?
Kate: I dont know.

On Mondays and Wednesdays ....
I volunteer at Flowers Hospital from 12:30 to 4:00. Mrs. Rhonda (the volunteer supervisor) has me working the information desk at the main entrance to the hospital. I love doing it. She has me working there because there are 2 deaf guys (Mr. Rick and Mr. Bob) working there and they cant hear even with the hearing aids in. Mrs. Rhonda has confidence in me that I will step in and help if she need me to.
I was working on Wednesday and it was a very bad day. We had a patient in the hospital that chose to opt out o the hospital system. We still can see the name on the computer screen at the front desk but, if there is a "@" sign before there name, we are supposed to say "I'm sorry but, I dont have any information on the person". We are to act as if they are there but, not really there. Anyway, back to my story .....
Mr. Bob was asked if we had a John Doe (name changed due to HIPAA regulations). Well, I had already looked up the name John Doe earlier for someone else and they were not "in" the hospital. So, While Mr. Bob was asked about John Doe, I told hm that he (John Doe) was not in the hospital. Mr. Bob had to look it up anyway. When he did I just started saying that we dont have information on the patient. I mean, Mr. Bob will go: Is it John Doe, Billy Bob Doe, James, Doe, etc.. He will go down the list telling them (the people asking) the names until he eventually hits upon the right name.
I go to deliver flowers. While I am gone, he takes it upon himself to go into the patients room (which we are not supposed to do) and tells them that they are getting calls and people asking about the patient. I apparently cant leave him alone. I'm guessing that the people in the room get a hold of Mrs. Rhonda and tells her what went on and she puts Mr. Bob in his place. Anyway, Mrs. Rhonda comes to the front desk and talks to him but, I don't think he understood a word she said.
Mr. Rick was on the phone to someone calling to ask about a patient and he cant understand a word they are saying (b/c he is deaf) even with the phone on its loudest setting. I can hear what is being said!!!!! Mr. Rick gets very loud (the atrium echos) and I am thinking "Oh no, these people heard him talk in anger!!!" He said: "I cant hear a word you are saying NOW WHAT IS THE LAST NAME!!!" He bangs the phone down on the receiver. He then gets frustrated because people are walking past the info desk. See, when you walk in the main entrance there is a TV screen on the far wall telling you which rooms are in which direction and what elevators to take. He (Mr. Rick) voiced this to me and he asked why they were walking past and I told him about the TV screen and he just said: "How about go to Hell!" Yes, that is what he said to me!! I told him that I was not arguing with him and I shut up and started reading my book. I told Mrs. Rhonda about this and I was almost in tears. I told her that if it was not for her that i wouldn't be here. She said that she knew this. I love Mrs. Rhonda! She is so nice, sweet and awesome!!!
She told me that she is going to have to put them somewhere else and keep me at the front desk.
Please pray for me on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. I have less hairs now and I have VBS next week!!! ALSO: Will and Amy are coming!!!!! I cant wait!!!!! Gee, I hope they bring Paxton!!!

I know that I have not written in a while!! I've been busy!! I moved in (a desk, a trundle bed, clothes, my TV and dirty clothes hamper) with my friend Jessica the last day in April and since then I have been homesick only once. Only 100+ more days to go before I move back home!!!
Last Saturday, Marc and I went to the Johnny Mack Brown Film festival at Landmark Park!!! They had movies that Johnny Mack Brown was in, cowboy mounted shooting and also the reenactment of the 1889 shooting in Dothan between the farmers and the towns people of the newly founded City of Dothan, Alabama. Johnny Mack Brown is a Dothan native who earned a scholarship to the University of Alabama and later went on to Hollywood!! It was very interesting to see!! I love going to Landmark Park even if there is not anything going on out there!!!!
I've been hanging out with Marc alot lately since his Momma has been home. She drives truck (semi's) for her Uncle over in Georgia. She has since gone. While she was home, I washed and folded laundry. I am going to go back later today (while Marc is at work) and finish up the rest. Maybe I can "git 'er done"!!!
I love going to Marc's farm!! He has chickens and horses!! When I am there, I help him feed the horses and gather the eggs in the chicken pen. That is so much fun!! Makes me wish that we had chickens on our farm in Headland. Not chickens to sell but, chickens to raise and gather the eggs.
OH!!!!! I went to Wally World last night and I was going through the soft drink section and I saw my favoritest drink ever!!! Its called BIG RED!!!!! My brother first introduced me to them a long time ago when he brought me some from Texas!!!!!! It is sooooo good!!!!! I wonder if he will want some when he comes home??? I wonder if Amy would want some but, I bet that she has already had some!!!!
Other stuff:
I am teaching 5th Grade VBS this year ... which is great because I love teaching 5th Grade!!
After all, I do teach 5th Grade GA's (Girls in Action)!!!
My brother and sister (in law) will be here in a couple of weeks!!!!!
Our Family Reunion is going on the day after (or the day that) my brother gets here. I might move back home temporarily for the weeks that VBS (Vacation Bible School) is going on and also the week that my brother will be here.
